Mr. Zuppi – an internationally renown lawyer – has led quite the notable life, ranging from extraditing Nazi war criminals hiding out in Argentina to presenting evidence against Argentina for a huge government cover-up. He was the Secretary of Justice for Argentina and chief prosecutor in the terrorist case for the families of the victims of the AMIA bombing which occurred in 1994 – a case of political intrigue and cover-up which continues today. He is the author of “AMIA – An Ongoing Crime“, as well as the 3 volume set of “Los Otros Juicios De Nuremberg” – the first intensive books written on the notorious Nuremberg Trials. We are fortunate on “Between the Covers” to have wonderful authors join us – this is the first time that our author guest is actually a major player in the events of our world!

The year was 1963. John Lennon had written a new song and was eager to share it with his band-mates. After John sang, “I want to grab your breasts,” self-proclaimed sixth Beatle Mike Campbell suggested the tamer, “I want to hold your hand” among other, almost plausible, silliness.
So begins a series of profoundly absurd and absurdly profound musings from M. E. Mattel. What Was I Thinking? is a collection of short stories, poems, and song lyrics that include philosophical reveries, satirical scenarios, and even a bawdy limerick.
